Chandless Strong

Hello family and friends. As many of you know our dad, Mike Chandless, is one of the most selfless, caring, and positive people that we know. He has always been there for his family and gone above and beyond to ensure that his family is taken care of. He is our family’s rock, like a lighthouse when there is a terrible storm, our go to guy for all of life’s ups and downs. He is also the main care giver to our mom who has been debilitated by MS.

Recently our world has been turned upside down, as you may have heard, our dad had a major stroke. We were all extremely uneasy because of what a stroke can mean both physically and mentally. By the grace of God and our family pulling together, our dad is stable and in the ICU. He will need to be in the icu for awhile due to brain swelling, but we are hopeful that each day he will improve. Unfortunately, he will have a long road to recovery and rehabilitation once he gets home. As a family, we are working on restructuring our lives so our Dad and Mom both now have the best care.

We have never been a family to ask for help, but at this time of uncertainty, we strongly see the necessity to receive the help of those who care and want to help us. With medical bills, therapy and care for dad, as well as assistance for our mom we need all the help we can get.

Anything you feel led to do to help would be greatly appreciated and we definitely ask that you pray for everyone in our family as we transition into our new normal. We are so grateful. Thank you
