My name is Chance, and I’m reaching out for support as I continue my journey of recovery and growth. Growing up, I was in and out of the system, learning hard lessons through gang violence and life on the streets. After being released 18 months ago, I made the decision to stay clean and learn how to live as a man in society. The road hasn’t been easy—I’ve relapsed a few times—but with the love and support of God, I’ve managed to get back on track and want to keep moving forward.

Recently, I was accepted into a sober living facility where I’m learning to grow in faith and responsibility. I’ve managed to pay the first part of my monthly fee, but I need to stay here at least six months to continue my progress. The funds I’m raising will help me cover these fees and buy groceries, so I can focus on my recovery and not have to turn to old friends or unhealthy habits. I want to be transparent about how the money is used and show my progress, so you know your support is making a real difference.
