Yolo County Spay and Neuter Group needs your help! Chance is a 12 week old puppy that one of our amazing fosters found nearly starved to death on the side of the road in Dixon, he was covered from head to toe in ticks and fleas and incredibly malnourished and starved to near death. He laid limp in his recsuers' arms the entire drive home, after a lot of TLC and vet care to make sure he is healthy and improving Chance was diagnosed with subluxing patellas. Now as many of you know this is not fatal and most of the time this can be handled with medication but unfortunately for little, 4 lb Chance, his knee cap is on the inside of his leg and he is unable to use his back leg at all do to the pain and inability to move the leg. We have had a surgical consult with our amazing vets at Broadway Vet Clinic and attached is the estimate for the surgery (not including the previous tests). If you can spare anything we and Chance would greatly appreciate the help.
