Chance Dower, 44, passed away very unexpectedly on Sunday morning leaving behind his beloved four-year old best friend, Nico. Chance went missing early Sunday morning and was found unresponsive by Houston PD. Preliminary findings indicate that he possibly passed away from complications with sleep apnea.
Chance was a beautiful soul and he touched all our lives. Above all, Chance had a beautiful love with Rafael and Nico. Nico always said Chance was his best friend and Chance loved teaching him new things like how to color inside the lines and use his "super powers". He would want the two most important people in his life taken care of.
Chance was the type of man that never met a stranger. He always saw the best in people and was always willing to help his fellow man. He was the guy you always saw giving a homeless person money or food, and the type of guy that spread true joy wherever he went. I wish everyone could have had the opportunity to meet him and relish in his exuberant love and zest for life. He was a very hard worker and always provided for his family and friends in need. In speaking with his boss, he stated that Chance is leaving a huge hole in the company and everyone is devastated by this loss. He's leaving a huge hole in all our hearts.
All funds raised will go to directly to support Rafael and the rest of his journey raising Nico without his best friend.
Please consider giving from your heart, as Chance did for so many of us. We thank you for your kindness during this difficult time.
