Chana’s Cancer Fight

Dearest family and friends,

We are reaching out with difficult news to share on behalf of our mother Chana Bryant Meredith, who has been diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast cancer-invasive ductal carcinoma this May 2023. She required additional testing and procedures which have revealed that our mother also has an autoimmune disease called Sarcoidosis which is impacting her fight with breast cancer.

In July, 2023 she began intensive chemotherapy treatments and will require a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction. Our mother's treatment and procedures will continue over the course of the next 12 months. She is now unable to work due to the side effects of the systemic chemotherapy.

Chana is the mother of 4 children, the youngest being 8yr old Jason. For those of you who know or have ever met Chana, you quickly notice her overwhelming love, attention, and care for her children. Chana has made it her first priority to provide a life for all of her children that is filled with love, support, God, and the respect for community. She is an active member in her community, church, and Jason's school. Due to this devastating news, her ability to financially maintain the medical bills, and household finances has been compromised.

Chana has been a decorated leader in the nursing community for over 30 years, and has worked in the NICU, Home Health, In-patient hospital care, Managed Care and management in several hospitals over the states of Georgia and Florida. Now she is depending on the help and care of others.

Due to the aggressive nature of our mother's cancer, this will take the financial stress off her and allow her to put all her energy into fighting cancer and recovering from surgery.
