Please help support Chan Thanadabouth, our friend, colleague, and fellow military serviceman, who recently lost everything in a tragic house fire.

Chan has worked as an Operations Supervisor at the Sims Recycling Solutions Roseville, CA facility for over 22 years. He is a remarkable employee who works hard and is always willing to lend a hand to help anyone in need.  

On Wednesday, September 25, Chan received an urgent call at work that his house was on fire. When he arrived home, his house was engulfed in flames.  Despite the efforts of fire crews, all that remains is the blackened frame which has continued to collapse.  All of the contents were destroyed. Fortunately, Chan, his wife, and four children were not injured.

We are seeking support from family, friends, colleagues, and the community to assist Chan and his family during this challenging time.   And we thank those that have already contributed.  The family is grateful for everyone’s generosity.

Chan is a decorated military serviceman who has served our country for over 30 years; 12 years active duty with the US Army and 18 years and ongoing with the US Army Reserve. He is a Master Sergeant responsible for monitoring and supervising the performance of enlisted staff. He is currently active with HHC, 2/415th CAV (OSUT) at Camp Parks (PRCTA) in Dublin, CA.
