Champion's Challenge
My Friends,
I stand before you - humbled.
(OK, I’m actually sitting)
For some unknown reason, I’m finding that the extra $2-a-month in Disability (in the last 4 years!) just isn’t helping all that much, but I’ve had no success finding a legitimate way to make a few extra bucks at home.
.
Bo is going to require another visit to the vet soon, which will include the need for additional x-rays, plus the ‘office visit’, more medications, etc.
I just pray he won’t need surgery.
[ Bo, my sweet kitten, turned a year old only a few weeks ago, and has been strictly confined to a 3 1/2’ x 2 1/2‘ cage for the last 7 weeks due to a spinal/disc problem he was born with. He was almost put to sleep at birth because he was sneezing, but after just 2 weeks of my giving him medication, it stopped. And, now, THIS...my poor baby. ]
Meanwhile, his “Papa” is suffering from a curvature of the spine, along with compressed discs and arthritis in my upper back and neck. I’m convinced that the rigors I put my body through during nearly 300 performances as ‘Quixote’ were a major culprit.
(Oh, the things we do for applause...)
Unfortunately, the Physical Therapy co-pay is prohibitive.
There is also the possibility that we may need to hire a nurse to help look after mom… I would like to be able to help my siblings with a small “donation”.
To add insult to injury, the new rent increase is just weeks away from going into effect, so any leftover donations would be spread out over a few months until I figure out where, after 24 years, I’m going to land next.
.
Any donation, large or small, is GREATLY appreciated!
I am fully aware some of you have donated before…
and, for that, I am ETERNALLY grateful!!!
We thank you, in advance, from the bottom of our hearts,
George...and Bo, too!
XO
