Champaign Heat Basketball has been serving both boys & girls of the C-U community since 2008. Since it's inception our org has helped over 50 student-athletes obtain basketball collegiate scholarships.  Our coaching staff has always been composed of volunteers and nothing we do is for profit. We coach simply for the love of the game and to help kids succeed on and off the court. The NCAA has limited and has made college recruiting opportunities less available to student-athletes this travel season. In 2019 there will only be 2 weekends for college recruiting events. That has forced our team to have to play in more exposure tournaments, travel further and to pay higher tournament fees. The 15u (freshmen) Champaign Heat team's core has been together for the past 4 years and 6 players on the team play Varsity as freshmen. They are serious about basketball, our team GPA is a 3.65, and we just need a little help making their college basketball dreams come true this season. Anything you can donate would be appreciated!
