Champagne's 20th Anniversary Restoration Campaign

20 Years ago, 5 camp counselors from Camp Wigwam, embarked on a most unprecedented adventure! Traversing over 30 states across the USA, they visited friends, spent time in new cities, got into a modicum of trouble and started the Legacy of 'Champagne', the illustrious VW Campervan that transported on this journey.

Since that day Champagne has been the vehicle of choice for Paul McCarthy, he ended up keeping the van after the road trip abruptly ended in Bloomington IN and stayed to do his graduate work there. Adding many more roadtrips and adventures throughout the year, Champagne became an iconic sight at Indiana University Football games, Eaglepalooza events in FL and at the Inosanto Academy in Los Angeles CA.

After 20 years of adventures across the US, several of which could be described as 'bogus'! Champagne is now in need of not only a facelift, but a restoration back to her former glory. Fortunately in Los Angeles the resources to do this are available and during this anniversary year we will be attempting to build her back better, stronger and with even more character!
