Challenging Stage 4 Cancer

My best friend Lea Cadieux (Boone) and 2nd mom has been the biggest role model in my life. Recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, Lea and her husband had to take a layoff from work. Being diagnosed with cancer comes with out of pocket care, while trying to maintain the household expenses raising two children.

Lea has left a footprint in many lives and with community members. The biggest challenge ahead is being the support she needs during this time in her life.

Fuck Cancer - when some people hear the phrase, it sounds offensive. When you have to live in your own body enduring the ripple affect living in chronic pain, puking and suffering, in tears saying "FUCK CANCER" the phrase is not as offensive
