We will use the money raised to help the families cover the cost of traveling to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
The Challenger Division at Cambrian Park Little League offers players with special needs an opportunity to participate in an organized youth baseball program.
• Gives all boys and girls ages 5-18 years regardless of ability an opportunity to
play baseball & be a part of a team
• Provides a structured athletic program
• Incorporates “Buddies” from the Major Division and surrounding communities
• Presents opportunities to experience the joys of pulling together as a team, being
cheered, and earning awards for their achievements
• Welcomes any special need
• Enhances social development
• Games are played on Sundays
Cambrian Park’s Challenger Division was created by Barbara Morrone 12 years ago and it has grown to develop players throughout all of San Jose not just kids from Cambrian Park Little League.
