Challenge 21 for the Down Syndrome Centre, Cork
On Sunday June 19th I will be taking part in Challenge 21, which involves raising €21 from 21 people before walking the 21km from Haulbowline to Páirc Uí Caoimh, in order to raise badly needed funds for The Down Syndrome Centre Cork.
As most of you will know, The Down Syndrome Centre Cork is a charity very close to my own heart. It's a centre that provides vital services for children with Down Syndrome, helping them to reach their potential. They provide services that otherwise aren't available to my daughter Freya and other children with Down Syndrome in the Cork County.
The centre was opened by a group of parents, who have children with Down syndrome, and it receives NO Government funding. It is kept open only through fundraising.
If you can be one of my 21 people to sponsor me €21 that would be amazing , but obviously I would be so grateful for any donation big or small, as will Freya and the many children with Down Syndrome that will benefit directly from the services within this centre.
Thank you so much xxx
