Chale's Champions (Part Deux)

Hello everyone,

Our friend Chale Ashley is still in great need of people to help support her financially during this difficult season. The other page was closed because it wasn't getting as much traction as we needed, but I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart who donated. I also want to acknowledge that Ambassador Christian Academy did an amazing job with reaching the goal of the first GoFundMe. My hope is that this fundraiser will broaden reach to continue necessary contributions. The starting goal is $5,000, though I wish to extend that goal once it's met. The medical bills are a terrible burden, and the debt is still increasing as new bills are processed. The latest bill from the hospital is $500 in addition to others that are much more expensive.

Chale has experienced multiple hardships the past few years after contracting Covid. She has been in and out of the hospital requiring breathing tubes at her worst moments. Chale's last ICU hospital stay lasted 28 days. However, it is not all bad news. About a month ago she was finally diagnosed with Tracheobronchomalacia and had a tracheostomy. After passing a test, she is thankfully now back home. The best news is that Chale has the diagnosis, and her doctors have a plan moving forward. This painful journey isn't over just yet, but she is well on her way to being able to look at all of this in the rearview mirror. God spared her life to allow her to continue to be a loving and gentle mom to Ashton and a kind and caring teacher to her students.

If you cannot give a monetary gift, please share this page and offer prayers. Pray that her next surgery coming up will be her last in a long while. This surgery will hopefully be her final fix of all these breathing issues. It will be a long road of recovery most likely, so please pray for perseverance. Pray that her health and stamina improve, so that she can attend Family Camp at Delanco Camp. She loves it there, and she definitely wants to be back. We want her there as well.
