Our Chairman, Councillor Aga Dychton along with the Elected Mayor, Peter Taylor will be walking to all 12 of Watford's Green Flag Park for her two chosen charities - Electric Umbrella and Watford Women's Centre.
Electric Umbrella is a registered charity challenging the perception about people with learning disabilities and enriching and empowering lives through music. Based in South-West Hertfordshire and working across the county, they combat social isolation by facilitating regular, meaningful social interaction for their adult members with learning disabilities as well as promoting self confidence and independence. electricumbrella.co.uk
Watford Women's Centre provide life-changing services for women to lead independent, productive and healthier lives, and also support the wider community. They aim to create a community-wide culture that has zero tolerance for family or partner abuse and that fosters healthy relationships based on mutual respect and equality. wwcplus.org.uk
