Help Give Ollie the Freedom He Deserves

Ollie is a bright, funny, and determined young boy who loves life — but he faces daily challenges most of us never have to think about. Ollie lives with Ullrich Muscular Dystrophy, a rare muscle condition that causes weakness and severe fatigue. Because of this, he relies on a manual wheelchair, but it’s becoming harder and harder for him to push himself around. Even short distances leave him completely worn out.

As parents, it’s heartbreaking to watch him want to do more — to play, explore, and join in with his friends — but be held back simply because his wheelchair isn’t suited to his needs. We want to give Ollie the freedom and independence that every child deserves.

That’s why we’re raising money to buy him a ZIPPIE Q300 M Mini Kids Mid-Wheel Power Wheelchair — a specially designed powered chair made for growing children. It’s compact, agile, and will let Ollie move freely both indoors and outdoors, without needing someone to push him.

Sadly, the NHS cannot provide a powered wheelchair for Ollie because of his small size, so we’ve been told we need to fund it ourselves. This is why we’re reaching out for help.
