Please help Chain Reaction Records rebuild

Hi! This is Josh from Chain Reaction. My brother, Justin , and I mulled this over for a bit as we were very reluctant to ask for cash donations. We've come to realize this cannot be avoided. The out pouring of support from he community has been overwhelming and so many have asked about a gofundme that I'm more comfortable doing so than I initially was.

The backstory is our storefront was demolished by a drunk driver at about 1 AM on Saturday 1/13/2024. Its been all over the news and there are a lot of pictures on our social media sites. This damage is extensive and has closed our business.

We are excited at the chance to reopen in the same building in a larger and better space. We might be able to start moving in this weekend but wont be open for another 2-3 weeks depending on how quickly we can get organized.

The move will present some up front costs including but not limited to: new display cases, cash register, paint, lumber, printer, racks, lost wages, pending bills, a sign, and initial help with the higher rent. Without any income we are without the means to cover these expenses ourselves.

We might be able to start moving in this weekend but wont be open for another 2-3 weeks depending on how quickly we can get organized. Once we can get in and open we will slowly invest in the space to grow into the opportunities it presents.
