What?
Ragnar is an overnight running relay race. Twelve people pile into two vans and tag team run 200(ish) miles, day and night, relay-style. Only one runner hits the road at a time and each participant runs three times. Each leg ranges between 3.5 to 10 miles and is of varying difficulty.
When?
June 12-13, 2015
Why do this?
We are a little bit crazy. As mentioned, we are all doing this for a variety of reasons. Most of us have the Ragnar on our bucket list.
Why funds are needed
Registration fees and all other costs have been paid by each individual. Two families have volunteered their minivans. The vehicles will be our home for the two days - rain or shine! Imagine six sweaty bodies in a minivan for two days! So, we are looking to rent two passenger vans to make the experience more bearable. Additionally, we feel this opportunity will help us build support for something we can all rally behind…fighting cancer. Any funds raised beyond our van costs will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
Your support is truly appreciated… Let’s do this!
