My name is Brian. I've lived on this street with my dad since we moved here in 1998. I went to Camden Fairview Highschool, and went to college at SAU Tech. As my dad aged his health declined, so I stayed with him to take care of him, with help from our cat Raven.

In 2020 my dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 Kidney Disease and started going to DaVita for dialysis. In 2023 he sadly passed away after months in and out of different hospitals across the state. This left me with a lot of medical debt, but I was managing to keep up with it until I got laid off in February of this year.

My own health problems made it difficult to find another job for several months. I had to ask a friend for help to have enough food to eat, and even then I lost 60lbs in two months. In that time I fell too far behind on the mortgage, and now the house my dad left me is in foreclosure.

It is scheduled to be sold on October 20th.

I found steady work again in September, but I'm not going to be able to earn enough on my own before the sale date. If I can make this last payment the mortgage will be completely paid off, and I will be able to take out a loan to repay anyone kind enough to help.
