Support Chad—Because Cancer Surgery Seriously Sucks
Donation protected
Five years ago, Chad underwent major surgery at the Mayo Clinic that gave him a chance to keep fighting cancer. This has allowed him to keep making memories with the people he loves most. It hasn’t been an easy road, but since then, he’s embraced every moment with Ashli and Theo. From trips to amusement parks and cheering at t-ball games, to snuggles after bath-time and the many bedtime stories Theo requests, these years have been filled with joy, love, and lots and lots of Chad’s cooking.
Now, Chad faces a new challenge: the cancer has started to grow again. In June, Chad will undergo a HIPEC procedure at Northwestern Cancer Center. It will require several weeks of recovery in Chicago, followed by 3+ months of healing at home.
This journey will be difficult—not only physically for Chad, but emotionally and logistically for the entire family; however, Chad isn’t backing down and neither will we.
If you’re able and willing to contribute—whether that’s through a donation, a kind thought, a meal, or simply spreading the word—it would mean a lot.
Thank you for your kindness, your generosity, and for walking alongside the Coopers during this next chapter. Every gesture, no matter the size, brings them one step closer to brighter days.
