Chad and Bethany Nauman have 5 beautiful children and live in Northern Oklahoma. To know them is to love them and if you have known them, you have likely been blessed by this wonderful family in some way, shape, or form. They are constantly seeking to serve God's Kingdom and love on His people by giving so generously of themselves. Raise your hand if you're in church or know God because Bethany invited you or known that if the Nauman's knew that you needed help, you could count on them to give whatever they were able -and do so with a happy heart! Please pray for them. Their family is going through a lot right now.
From Bethany:
"As many of you know, Chad has struggled with autoimmune disease for the past 5 years. Last year his lymph nodes started swelling and he was so exhausted that it was interfering with how much he was able to work, and worsened to the point that he has not been able to work with any consistency for some time now. It's been hard for the family. We had our suspicions but doctors finally confirmed and diagnosed Chad with Stage II Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Chad is under the care of an Oncologist who is, thankfully, willing to work with our natural treatments as we follow the protocol of a Functional Medicine doctor. We are moving through all of this very prayerfully and greatly appreciate and value your prayers! He has a PET scan scheduled for March 15 and a follow-up visit with the oncologist on March 23.
More fun: about two weeks ago my (Bethany) right eye got a "gray cotton wool spot", decreasing my vision. We found out it was caused by a vascular occlusion- basically a blockage. From that blockage, blood has pooled on my macula which has further decreased my vision in the past week. I am headed to a retina specialist as soon as I can be seen but I'm also scheduled for an MRI next week to rule out a tumor. So much is happening but we know that God is good and has not and will never abandon us!
We covet all of your prayers during this hard and crazy time in our lives!!"
-Bethany Nauman
During this time the Nauman's income has come from side jobs that God has provided for Bethany -like house cleaning with her girls as well as a private duty nursing job (which just came to an end)- and from the generosity of family and friends. Their most immediate need towards Chad's treatment is about $4,000. Their other motor living expenses, for a family of 7, are close to that. I would love to raise enough money to see their bills paid for the next 6 month. That's not to mention extra expenses that will crop up along the way, so I will keep this fundraiser open! We will be keeping you updated as new info arises. Check back here or on Bethany's Facebook for updates.
Please, let's come together to surround this family with a bit of the loving kindness and support that they have shown so, so many of us over the years!
All monetary support will go towards Chad's treatments and filling the gaps in their income. They also have Zelle, PayPal, and Venmo.
