Support Chad’s fight with Colon Cancer
Donation protected
Chad was diagnosed with colon cancer officially this month. He has surgery scheduled to remove large mass on January 6th. As many of you know he has not been able to work fully since August between medications and appointments. Our family has struggled to pay the rent and utilities since October as we have slowly ate away at our savings. If you know Chad at all you know he has worked 60-70 hours a week with no complaint most his life to take care of his family. He is the guy that drives hundreds of miles in the middle of the night to help someone. He has always been the first to help someone else when they need it. He is the rock that not only his family depends on. He is the first guy you called when something bad happened because you knew he had you and would move mountains when you needed it the most. He is the guy that sits in the waiting room with your family. He’s the guy that helped to keep your life going when you couldn’t. This illness coupled with our youngest grandson being born 14 weeks early has put a heavy strain on our whole family. Thankfully our grandson is ok and doing well after his surgery on the 16th. Chads recovery on the other hand is still yet very unknown. It seems every-time we think we have good news something comes and washes it away. He looked to only need surgery after last scans it seems he will need to fight harder and longer for remission. It is with the heaviest of heart that we have asked so much of our children in this. Our children have been amazing. Not only in helping us but each other. Our youngest daughter giving up on buying a car to help her Dad and brother. I am posting today because we need help in the next couple months. I will be unable to work at a regular job over the next bit as I need to be able to take care of Chad. Fighting this cancer is going to continue to be a heavy expense. Medical bills alone are going to be hard to pay. Paying rent and keeping the lights on….. I am not even sure how we will manage it honestly. If you pray or have a church with prayer list please put our family on it. I don’t know what tomorrow or the new year brings but I can only hope it is healthy grandsons and husband! Any money donated will go to paying rent, utilities, and treatment costs.
