Hello, my name is Celeste and I am fundraising for Angelo’s medical expenses and care.

 

Angelo is my best friend, Chris’s nephew. He is 16 years old and has Autism . On Wednesday evening, I received a message from Chris saying Angelo had jumped off the 4th story balcony from their apartment. He wanted to know if it would hurt if he jumped off the balcony. Amazingly he was lucid after the fall but had severely damaged his leg.

 

So far he has had 2 surgeries to save his leg but will probably need additional surgeries on his knee and ankle.

 

Angelo’s mom is raising him on her own. She works in the hospitality industry. After being out of work for the past year and a half because of Covid-19,was just beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel when this happened.

 

Funds raised will be used to pay for Angelo’s medical expenses and care. It may also cover living expenses for him and his mom since she won’t be able to work while he is in the hospital and needs 24/7 care.
