In November 2016 I was having trouble going poop so I went to the doctor and got some blood work and stool tests done that did not show that there was anything serious going on, but I was still having lots of trouble going to the bathroom. My visits to the doctor went on for just under a year until I was able to get booked in for a colonoscopy in late October 2017. The colonoscopy showed a large tumor in my rectal cavity as well as some polyps, and I was diagnosed with rectal cancer. To make things worse, the drugs they gave me 30 years ago, to beat my Leukemia I had when I was 5 years old, are the direct cause of why I am having to go through cancer again. Bummer! (literally)

The pain is pretty bad. I am on pain medication 24/7 and have to stay on top of taking them because if I forget, it really hurts. As a result, I’ve had to take time off of work until this is sorted. Some of the medication makes me super tired, which isn’t the worst side effect, but having a demanding, service-industry job that requires more energy than I have at the moment, isn’t going to help me recover any faster.

I was to start pre-operative chemotherapy and radiation treatment beginning January 2018 for 5 weeks, 5 days a week, in hopes to shrink the tumor before they operate, but I have decided to forgo that option for the time being and see if I can beat it naturally, using a cannabis oil treatment, along with some massive supplemental, dietary and lifestyle changes. I have already started to notice major pain relief from being on the cannabis oil, suppository medications aren’t always the most comfortable, but it is definitely helping with my pain. The plan with the oil is to build my body’s tolerance level up over the course of a month, which is what I’m doing now, until I’m consuming 1 gram of the oil per day. This keeps up for 90 days by which point the cancer should no longer be in my body. I will be getting more CT and MRI tests done at this time to see what effect the oil had on the tumor and cancer. The medication is taken as a suppository as well as orally, to achieve maximum efficiency.

Some good news is that the cancer seems to be contained to that one area and has not spread any further, according to the CT and MRI’s that have been done but, due to the size and location of the tumor, the surgeon still wants to do chemotherapy and radiation before operating, which can have some pretty bad side effects (like dying). Also, if we go the doctor’s route, I will also have to have a colostomy bag for at least a period of time, if not forever.

Knowing what my options are, I am going to pursue this natural method for at least a couple of months, and with the help of a naturopath, for dietary and supplemental planning, I feel more confident about going this route than the traditional way, if for nothing else than as a personal experiment. I am not opposed to doing things the hospital’s way, I just feel that if I have the option to try something else first, and it has worked for many other people then why not try it?

I am hoping with this fund, to alleviate some of the stress of being able to keep my bills paid, food on the table, meds in my system, and to be able to get the necessary tests done when the time comes while I am healing and unable to work. I have no insurance except for basic MSP, which does not cover any of my medication or Naturopath appointments. Employment insurance does not cover much and only lasts for 10 weeks. I am hoping to be back to normal by summertime, but this is a best-case scenario. I will be posting updates whenever I can, thank you for taking the time to read, manifest those vibes for your boy, I know with everyone’s help I’ll be able to kick this thing’s ass once again and be back in no time at all.

Love you all!!!

Hi again,

Thought I would check in and let everyone know where we are at currently.

At the beginning of April I started a 6 week regimen of Radiation and Chemotherapy. It was very hard on my body, I lost about 30lbs and a lot of my energy and also some major scabbing around my butt. May 11th was my last treatment and I have been spending the last 6 weeks exercising, eating and trying to heal up before the next step, which is a bunch of tests (CT, PET, MRI, Endorectal Ultrasound) and then hopefully plan for surgery and then more chemo. Not all of the tests are complete yet, and we dont have all the results back for the ones that are. What I currently know is that: The CT scan shows that the cancer has NOT spread to my lungs, and that the three spots on my liver have not changed since they were first discovered. Today (Jun 27) I met with my surgeon and his recommendation is that i do another, more intense round of chemotherapy to try and shrink the spots on my liver as well as shrink my tumor even more before we do surgery. He is certain that he could remove the tumor from my butt right now but then we would need a plan for the liver spots. This wasnt exactly the news I was hoping for, I was kind of hoping for a surgery date since we are not even sure if the spots on my liver are cancerous or not but this is what they want to do so now I have to meet my chemotherapy doctor again to plan that out. Probably looking at 2-3 months of chemotherapy, more tests and then finally, hopefully, surgery(probably october). So while I thought all of this stuff would be happening faster, looks like a lot more work and waiting to be done before I know anything definitive.

I also wanted to thank everyone was able to make it out to my birthday/fundraiser last month. My sister organized the best party and all of my favorite people volunteered to play music and we had a huge load of amazing prizes , very generously donated that we were able to raffle off, so wanted to thank everyone involved with that.

Hello Everyone,

Thought I would give a little update as to where I am at currently on the cancer journey.

First off I just want to thank everyone who has helped in some for or another whether it was by a donation, coming to visit, or sending me energy/messages, the love I have been feeling continues to help in my fight on a daily basis and I seriously cant thank everyone enough!

I was using a high-dose of cannabis oils (or Rick Simpson oil or Phoenix Tears) for the past 90 days (1 gram/day for about 45 days, ramping up to 2.5grams for the last 10) which help drastically with my pain, but do not appear to have made the tumor shrink at all.

I have been maintaining a healthy diet, free of processed foods and sugar, also swimming and stretching regularly.

Some recent blood tests I got back show that the cancer markers in my blood have gone up quite a bit, and so for that reason, I will be starting Pre-operative Radiation and Chemotherapy for approximately 5 weeks starting as soon as possible, with surgery to follow.

I was just in this week for a trial run for the radiation treatment and had meetings with the Chemotherapy doctor today so it will be happening very soon. I have not received the full results on the CT and MRI I also had done this week, but form meeting the Chemo doctor, it does appear that the tumor has grown some and I have three small spots on my liver that they are unsure if cancerous or not at this point. So will need to keep a close eye on that. It does not appear to have spread though, so that is positive.

Another positive to all this is that it looks like we are going ahead with the original plan - nothing has spread or grown to the point that they dont feel confident this will work, so I am just going to keep doing my part.

Will probably do another update after chemo and radiation, stay tuned my peoples! much love to you all <3
