Chad's Liver Hates Him, But We Don't!
Donation protected
Last week Chad went to the ER thinking that he had a case of the flu and had severe abdominal pain. He was hoping to be in and out in a few hours, but he has not been able to leave since. After being in the ER for 36 hours, Chad was finally admitted to the hospital and has been under round the clock care with no determined end in site. His liver is slowly getting worse, and now there is talk of him possibly needing a transplant if the numbers don't recover soon.
Chad is a service oriented individual that would not ask for help on his own. He is a veteran of the US Air Force, former officer with the Collin County Sheriff's Office, and runs Operation Code Blue - a charity that is meant to help disabled veterans and first responders cope with whatever trauma or emotional distress that has occurred in the line of duty. Chad is currently working as the Master Alpha Coach and as a Fitness Professional for Life Time Athletic.
The nature of this job is commission based, meaning that if he does not go in to work, he does not earn his pay check. With the mortgage looming, needing to support his daughters, and upcoming unknown amount of medical bills, money has become a big issue. Chad is currently on day 5 of not being able to work, with no end in sight. This means there is a potential for bills to lapse and mortgages to go into default if he doesn't find help.
Any amount of money would be extremely appreciated by Chad and his entire family. Having peace of mind that the bills are covered will help reduce his stress and help him pay the future medical bills for this extended stay. If a transplant does occur, it could be weeks or months before he is able to work again and he will have more medical expenses.
Thank you for anything and everything you can contribute.
