Our hearts are broken as we share the passing of Chadd. He courageously fought for his life following the accident but sadly, he has succumbed to his injuries.

We are all heartbroken by this loss. Chadd was an incredible son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend — loved by so many for his kindness, humor, and big heart.

Chadd was an organ donor, and through his selfless decision, he may go on to help 20–30 people — giving the gift of life and healing to others in need.

At this time, all funds raised will go toward helping Chadd’s family with funeral and memorial expenses as we honor his life and the impact he had on everyone who knew him.

Hello, I’m creating this GoFundMe to help my best friend’s family through an incredibly difficult time.

Chadd was on his way home from a cross-country road trip to Oregon when tragedy struck. He was in a life threatening car accident near the border of Minnesota and South Dakota and was airlifted to a hospital in Sioux Falls. Chadd has suffered severe head trauma and multiple injuries. Right now, the priority is keeping him stable and taking things hour by hour.

Chadd is a kind, hard-working, and a loving person who loves to travel. He has always been someone others could count on, and now he needs all of us to stand with him. His recovery will be long and very uncertain, but our family continues to believe in the power of prayer and hope for healing.

Along with the emotional toll this has taken, there are also significant financial challenges. All donations will go directly toward travel expenses, hotel stays, and any other needs that arise as his family stays by his side.

Chadd needs a miracle, so please continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers and send all the positive energy his way.
