Chad Walton 'Stick Strong' Benefit 2024
Donation protected
Chad Walton was born in 1970 into a Military family that understood commitment to service.
Chad obtained an Associates Degree in Business and Accounting and was accepted into the Kirkwood Police Department where he served for 23 years, 8 of which were his favorite working as a High School resource office on campus. His passion was reaching out & interacting with high school kids at a young age.
Chad retired from the Kirkwood Police Dept. and continued his hobby and love of motorcycles, and you may know Chad as an excellent drummer in several very popular rock and roll bands.
In 2023, Chad was involved in a motorcycle accident that created multiple injuries to his bass drum leg, ankle and foot. Multiple surgeries were needed, raising his hospital bills. After repeated infections, it became necessary to amputate his right leg beneath his knee, and a requirement to need a prosthesis to gain mobility which alone is $35,000 with a $10,000 deductible adding to his already extensive hospital and rehabilitation bills.
Please consider donating to this benefit to support a police officer, his wife and family, and Chad's determination to play drums actively again as we say, "Stick Strong!"
April 20th, Blue Marlin Band Musicians Unite at 8pm, for the Walton 'Stick Strong' benefit at Silver Creek Saloon @ 2520 Mascoutah Ave, Belleville, IL 62220. Help us build the GoFundMe account. Thank you! Amy & Tim Dodson
