️ In Loving Memory of Chad “String” Stringfellow

This fundraiser has been created by a group of friends, riders, and family from the indoor cycling world who were lucky enough to know and be loved by Chad Stringfellow, known to many simply as “String.”

Last week, String took his own life at home. His loss has left an enormous, aching space in all of us who knew and loved him.

String was a force, full of laughter, presence, generosity, and soul. He lit up every room he walked into, whether it was a studio, a bar, a coffee shop, or your front door at just the right time. He loved life deeply. He lived with intensity, joy, and above all, connection. He made us feel seen. He held our hands through heartbreaks, cheered for our wins, and gave us more than we ever knew we needed.

There are too many names to list, but this page is being held together by the hearts of people like Josh, Alicia, Kevin, Josie, Marius, Manu, Kenza, Adam, Stephen, Trammell, Ollie, and so many others across cities and countries. We are united in our grief and our love for him.

Now, we want to honor String in the way he honored all of us—by showing up.

All funds raised here will go to support his family, especially his niece, in covering the costs of his farewell and ensuring he receives the send-off he so deeply deserves. A goodbye full of light, soul, and beauty—just like him.
