Hi,
My name is Phillip Marsh, and my brother is Chad Michael Marsh from Ravenna, Ohio, a 1990 graduate. Sadness, sorrow and a shockingly sudden passing have brought us here. Chad was born 1/12/1972 and went to be with the angels on 7/22/2022. We are genuinely taken aback and at a loss. He was a loving son to Cynthia Jo Carden (Reedy) and Daniel Dean Marsh. Brother to Chrisanna Lee Stevens (Marsh), Heather Vaughn (Carden), Tracy Mason (Carden), and Megan White (Carden). The Father to two exceptional children, Mackenzie Louise Marsh (13) and James Dean Marsh (8). He spent half his life with his former wife and the children's mother, Darla Louise Marsh (Keyser). Uncle to nephews Austin Mitchell Marsh, Phillip Dean Marsh Jr., Shawn Cox, Zach Riley, nieces Alexis Marie Moore, Abreanna Lee Stevens, and countless others.
Chad was invigorated with art; he loved to draw and color. Passionate about tattooing and getting inked. Sports fan to the fullest; he loved his Ohio State Buckeyes. OH-IO. Football was his game; as kids, we played Hotstove Baseball together, pee-wee, middle school and high school football. Oh, the times we had and the lifelong friends we made. I think the kitchen was his calling; he had a knack for making something out of nothing or following a recipe to the last detail. We shared this enjoyment of food and worked together on several occasions. He loved his children and attended as many of their many events as he could. Mackenzie loves to bake, cook, dance and plays softball; James loves sports and plays football and baseball. They both excel at their school, and he was very proud of them. Chad enjoyed fishing and being outside. He always talked about his honeymoon trip to Zion National Park. Gatherings at his house for the 4th of July were always filled with fun, love, family, friends and food! Animal lover to the extreme. He always loved and cared for his pets affectionately. MUSIC was the soundtrack to his life, he loved it all, Rock, Country, Pop, Hip-Hop and Rap. Concerts, rockin out to the radio, cassettes and CD's. So many memories.
Chad was a part of the Guido's Restraunt family in Ravenna where he was employed. He was living on his own and making a new home life for himself and a place his children could come visit and stay. He was unable to establish a savings account and financially could not afford life insurance. We would like to do our very best to give him a proper funeral and allow family and friends to say their last goodbyes. We humbly ask for your kindness and help. Please, if you can find it in your heart, your soul, it will be cherished by all who know him.
From the bottom of our hearts we graciously thank all who give in honor of Chad Michael Marsh.
