Chad Johnson medical needs

Dear Friends, Family, and people who can help.

As many of you know Chad was diagnosed with Melanoma almost 9 months ago. Unfortunately, his condition has continued to get worse. Doctors have upgraded the severity to stage four and the cancer has moved into multiple new areas through his bones, lungs, and most recently, his brain.

We did a go fund me for Chad 2 months ago and were able to raise close to $20,000 dollars thanks to all of your help, but Chad is in need again and we are trying to raise enough to sustain him for the next 6 months. This money will go towards him being able to support himself while he awaits a new trial treatment which should hopefully begin within 30 days. He has reduced his personal spending to the bare minimum, and we believe he needs an additional $25,000 to hold him over for this period of time. This money will go towards supporting his rent, food, needed home care, and medical supplies he needs not covered by insurance. Chad has to drain his lungs once a day which requires special medical devices as well as pay for specific medicine not covered by his insurance.

The good news is that Chad is still in high spirits and has not lost his wits, sense of humor and determination to push through this. It’s amazing how he is able to find humor in everything even while going through the hardest experience of his life.
