Chad Deans-funeral, medical and family expenses

Hello we are Tara Dowdy and Stacey Blair and we are starting this Go Fund Me to help support Chad's family after his sudden passing on 9/15/2023.

Chad was an amazing husband of 32 years, and a loving father. His family was his treasure. He was a good son and a dear friend to many. He loved Star Wars and anything sci-fi, golfing and fishing. He enjoyed collecting comic books, guns, and knives. He was an excellent poker player and a great cook. He had a kind and loyal heart.

We have known Kim, Chad's wife, since 8th grade. As anyone can attest, she is one of the most genuine, sweetest people in this world. She loves kids and has cared for many kids in her lifetime. At this time, her kids, Michael and Cora, are the ones we especially want to help during this time. No matter what age, it is difficult to lose a parent, but it's especially hard when you are young.

Funerals are expensive and being in ICU, even for a day or two, can reach into the thousands. Kim has had to miss work, so bills at home will need to be caught up on. This fundraiser will help with all the bills, so that Kim will have more time to focus on her kids and dealing with grief. I have set the goal lower but the need is definitely higher.
