The three Chacon families are working collaboratively raise funds to host a Chacon Family Reunion in 2016. Though we are only in the preliminary stages of planning, the date has tentatively been set for early July 2016.

Our first meeting was held Sunday, 9/20 at which we discussed options for location and activities. Carmen, Becky, Natasha, Christin, Beth, and I are so excited about the prospect of reuniting the Chacon family and look forward to planning an event everyone will enjoy.

Details for the event will be forthcoming. However, in an effort to secure a venue and begin planning we wanted to provide each of you with the opportunity to contribute financially and help lay the foundation for what will surely be an unforgettable event.

We have an optimistic goal to raise $5,000. What we are able to provide is directly related to our entire family’s ability and willingness to contribute. Additionally, any excess funding will be donated to the Chacon Family Memorial Scholarship Fund.

We understand that everybody’s financial situation is different and we welcome contributions of all sizes. If 100 adults contribute $25 each, we will be halfway to our goal and with over 66 Facebook RSVP’s we are confident that we can meet and potentially exceed that goal.
