Chabot Nursing Class 2022 Pinning Fundraising

              COVID has prevented many nursing students across the nation from having the privilege of an in-person pinning ceremony. The nursing pin has a long history, dating back more than 1,000 years to the 12th-century crusades. This ceremony and pin is a right of passage and a symbol of accomplishment and hard work we have done to complete nursing school and be prepared to serve our society as a healthcare provider. Below is a sample of the class of 2021 pin.  
                The last two graduating classes pinning ceremonies had to be virtual, and with great excitement and hope, we are planning to have the first in-person pinning ceremony at Chabot since 2019. We have made it to the last semester of our journey with our plan to graduate and have our pins placed by our loved ones on May 26th, 2022. We only have a short amount of time to fundraise for our pin, sashes, and the ceremony itself. Due to the pandemic and following our county's safety guidelines, traditional fundraising methods have been limited. We hope that our family, friends, and community that has helped us through our nursing journey will help us reach our fundraising goal. With your generous donation, we hope to celebrate with our class, close family, and the teachers who helped us along the way.
