Dear friends,
Like most of our peers in the hospitality industry, we were forced to close all Cha Cha Matcha cafes indefinitely due to to COVID-19. As a small business, we rely on daily patronage from our community, but the harsh truth is that the friendly faces who greet you at Cha Cha and make you delicious drinks are out of work for the foreseeable future.
We were fortunate enough to be in a position to compensate our cafe employees for 2 weeks while our cafes are closed, however with great uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, we are looking at ways of supporting our staff throughout the pandemic.
With that in mind, please consider donating what you can to our GoFundMe in support of our staff and their families.
All funds will go directly to our 70 cafe employees, who will be without the income and the tips they rely on as this pandemic progresses . We will keep a running log of all donors so that we can treat them to special experiences when our cafes re-open.
We are living in uncertain times, but we believe that community can help us overcome this unprecedented moment.
