Street Dog Hit by Car: Help Little Princess

Hello everyone, my name is Fernando. This little puppy which I have named Princess, was dumped and found around my block by her previous owner. She was very shy and scared with her tail tucked between her legs, it was obvious that she had been traumatized. My neighbor and I tried rescuing her multiple times with no luck.

Unfortunately, on 3/9 she was hit by a car and broke her little leg, she was left helpless and in agony. I could not leave her on the street with a broken leg and a broken heart. My partner was able to rescue her and brought her home, the little girl was in such pain and in need of surgery ASAP. I took her to the ER on 3/14 get X-rays done, she had a fever of 104 and luckily the vet was able to prescribe meds and few shots to temporarily alleviate the pain and fever. After our visit to the ER, I shared the X-rays with Simon Veterinary Surgical. The vet said, "she was really broken and must be in extreme" they have quoted me $7500 for the surgery and post op rehabilitation, which they have been kind enough to offer a discount due to the nature of this case, surgeries such as this can go for more than 10K. This is a huge amount for most of us, and unfortunately, we are not prepared for such unexpected situations. I wanted to help this little girl so that she could be healed. On 3/16 little Princess went into surgery, it was a blessing that Simon Veterinary Surgical was able to take her and saved her life. Little Princess is now in the road to recovery, she has been eating, taking her medications and sleeping. I hope that within weeks she will be able to walk again. I have attached a receipt of the invoice and medical notes for reference.
