Hi! I am starting this gofundme for my dear friend Mike Hoover. Mike was diagnosed with ALS in July of 2023. As his condition evolves, walking is becoming very difficult. We have started using a portable wheelchair which allows Mike to get out more and even walk his dog again. It would be very beneficial for Mike to have a wheelchair ramp installed at his house. It will become imperative to have a ramp as the disease progresses. We have received assistance from the ALS Foundation, but we need your assistance to complete the project. Mike needs an additional $1,700 to have the ramp installed. Your contribution, no matter how small, will allow Mike more time to stay in his home. This project is our current fund-raising goal, but Mike will face many ALS-related expenses that he will need help with.
