My name is Cameron Elliott, I am 21 years old, and in May of this year about a week before my birthday I was diagnosed with Large Diffuse B-Cell Lymphoma - or blood cancer. Normally I wouldn't be the type to set something like this up, as I am a generally proud person, but in an effort to spare me being steeped in medical debt for the rest of my life, my mother Sophie has effectively wiped out her savings to make sure I remain unbound to the debt. In return for her efforts, and the costs we cannot cover with just savings, I would like to be able to return to her the money that she spent making sure that I stayed alive and make sure that she won't find herself in the exact position I myself would be in if not for her.

It is also worth mentioning the goal that I have set here will not be the final height of what we owe, as it will likely be much more than this, just considering how medical costs have a way of growing.
