Please help me with my recovery from Surgery

Hello Facebook friends, I have changed and updated my Gofundme in accordance to how my treatments have been going....I have been gofunding for awhile it began when I was diagnosed with a stage 1 throat cancer.....throughout my treatment I have had complications but essentially as of right now throughout cancer wise I am in remission....however because chemo and radiation causes a loss in your immunity it has set off another problem with my pancreas...as a young man I was diagnosed as being chronically pancreatic, I was given a diet and creon enzymes to take while eating.....as a young man I never really followed this and I never really had any problems or attacks...until recently during my throat cancer treatment....my pancreas has become infected along with a large mass of infection building inside....my doctor and oncologist has determined that in order to stop a spread of cancer a preventive surgery should be performed....this includes removing a large portion of my pancreas, a portion of my lower stomach, a portion of my liver and lower intestine...my entire bile duct and duodenum and the resetting it back together and relearning to digest in a different way.....this is called a whipple procedure....it sounds complicated and it is....but the prognosis is good for returns to and having a relatively normal life....the biggest risks are infection, fluid leaks and hemmorging....my surgeon is a specialist in this field and has done many of these operations...so even though I am scared I feel secure in that knowledge....the reason I need to still gofundme and am asking for your help is that the healing and recovery for this type of operation is 6 months to a year....that's 6 months to a year without anyway of creating an income to survive....my current job has assured me my job will be there when I am able to perform again....but that will be some time...healing will take a long time and the doctor says it will be a long time before I regain stamina and I will suffer from an extreme fatigue.....I am 61 years old and do not qualify for disability yet....I have a lawyer working on this he says it will be quite some time before i prevail with a retroactive pay and early disability....so in other words for a minimum of at least 6 months or longer I am without an income to meet even my most basic needs....this is why I am continuing my Gofundme and seeking assistance and donations for those who are able and willing to help.
