Hello,

As many of you know my dad, Dennis Lindgren, took quite the fall off a ladder resulting in all of his ribs (yes,all 12) on his R side being fractured/in pieces so they have placed what is basically an artificial rib cage. On top of that he punctured his lung and kidney so yesterday they had to put a second chest tube in on top of the one they had already placed due to the puncture and collapsed lung. He is stable at the moment and tolerated surgery well but he has a long road ahead of him with lots of pain. Simple tasks are very hard for him at this time. He is on so many medications that the extent of the pain is not present. He has started to work with therapy some and this is very difficult. His pride and dignity is also very hurt at this time. He is going to be hospitalized for an extended period of time with a lot of rehab after that. Words cannot describe how badly I need this man to be okay, for me and his lil dudes too. I love you dad. You got this. He’s just ornery enough to come back from this. The doctors are very worried about pneumonia setting in and making him very sick with the lung in the condition it is. Please pray for this big guy!
