Junior Olympics

My name is Makenna Drouin. I am a sophomore from Edward little. I am a track runner and i have a goal to get to the junior Olympics in Sacramento California July 25-31. I put my all into my events and try to go above and beyond. My goal is to raise $5000.00. This will cover entry fee, air fairs,hotels and my coach.

I started track my freshmen year of high school never doing it before. I found out I have a gifted talent. My first year I went to the kvacs and took first place in my events. After that it was state I took first in the 300 meter hurdles. I took school records in 2 events also in one beating my own school record.

This year as a sophomore I did indoor track. I placed in all my events at kvacs. I went to New Englands and took second in the 55 meter dash. Also this year season also not over at the kvacs I took first place in all 4 of my events. I received the don berry award. States is next and I’ll be hoping to place.
