On Thursday 5/22/2025 there was a house fire. This fire took so much from my niece, brother-in-law and nephew. Thankfully by the grace of God all 3 were not in the house at the time. This house was not just home for them it was my nieces childhood home. Her safe place. Her connection to her mother who passed away from breast cancer when she was just 18. This house wasn’t just a house it was a home, my brother-in-law worked tirelessly to keep it. Sometimes working 2 jobs just to afford the payments. This house became a home and safe place for my nephew who moved in to help them out. This house held so many memories, ones that will always be there but are harder to feel now. This fire took so many items from them most they won’t get back. The worst thing of it all is that this fire took their Husky, Duke. A dog that not only was there for them on a daily basis, but he helped my niece when she needed him the most. Although nothing or no one will ever replace her mom, Duke helped her through the hardest time in her life. My brother-in-law feels defeated, broken and is just trying to find his way. They all 3 lost so much that night. With the grace of God and only God we were able to save so many memories and keep sakes. The next few months will be rough emotionally and financially. This is why I am doing this go fund me. They need help a lot of help. They will need to slowly rebuild their lives and house. They need as much help they can get. Please consider helping, if not with money then please share this. Most importantly, please lift them up in your prayers daily. My nephew, Billy also has a go fund me going for immediate needs. Mine is for more long term needs. Either one will go to the family so doesn’t matter which one you donate to or share.
