Help Mike Through His Kidney Cancer Battle
On August 16th, I had to undergo emergency surgery to remove my appendix. During the CT scan, doctors found a mass growing on my right kidney. After several follow-up visits and tests, I received the diagnosis — small cell renal carcinoma.
I’m scheduled for surgery on November 14th to remove the affected kidney, with the possibility of chemotherapy to follow. I’ll be out of work for some time as I recover. While I have sick time available through the fire department, my other job — trucking — is what helps keep the bills paid. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to return to that work for a while.
Any help during this time would mean the world to me and my family. Your support will go toward covering everyday expenses, medical costs, and keeping things afloat while I focus on getting healthy and back to work.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and for any kindness or support you can share.
