Saving Salomon
Donation protected
Salomón is my 23 year old cousin. He was....I began setting this gofundme page up yesterday 11/24 in the hopes of finishing it today. Unfortunately Salo did not make it today. He has left this earth and is in a better place.... On October 24th he was in a horrific car accident with another cousin of mine that passed away instantly in the crash. This accident caused Salomon to be in an induced coma while they operated on his brain, removing parts of it to reduce the pressure and save his life. They had to transfer him from a small hospital in Acapulco, Mexico to a bigger and better hospital in Mexico City. The transfer and medical bills alone costed $3,000,000 pesos (approximately $150,000 dollars). They had to do facial reconstruction and repair multiple bones in his body. Between all the costs of the surgeries, the transfer, medicine, everything, it has been a ridiculously large amount if money and somehow my aunt and family have pulled together to get the money to save Salo’s life. We need help please to pay off all of the loans, including now funeral costs and I have no idea how my aunt will ever get out of this debt. My family has already endured so much pain and tragedy in the course of one month. We could really use some light especially now that this holiday season is going to be so difficult missing two of our loved ones. Any help at all is appreciated and if you read this and are unable to give monetary help, that is ok. Please pray for my family so that we may find peace during this dark time and we will be eternally grateful.
The video I included is of him. A video he made for a class assignment in college about losing a dear friend of his to suicide. He was an amazing human being. He had a heart of gold, always bringing joy to everyone he came into contact with despite the tragedies he faced throughout his life, the loss of his father among others. If you didn’t get to meet him, I am sorry you didn’t. You would’ve fallen in love.
