Hello everyone, I'm Katie!
In May of 2016 I was diagnosed with Lyme disease as well as Mycoplasma Pnuemonia and 4 strains of Epstein Barr virus. I am working with a naturopathic Lyme specialist in Seattle and am on a primarily naturopathic protocol. My progress has been slow but steady, and I'm trusting God to see complete healing.
Due to these health issues, I haven't been able to work for well over a year. I have also needed to pay almost all my medical expenses out of pocket, resulting in nearly $15,000 of medical debt.
I'm a little bit overwhelmed by all the medical debt I have incured during this time - that's why I'm reaching out for some help. If you have it on your heart to help me financially and have the means to do so, I would be deeply grateful.
My goal is to be up on my feet again and feeling well enough to attend school at the Moody Bible Institute in January of 2018. I have a great passion for biblical study and church history and want to be able to teach and share these things with others. I hope to have my medical expenses paid off by that time so I can enter college debt-free.
