In July, Marcus went into cardiac arrest and was left with a severe brain injury. Initially, doctors told his family that they shouldn't expect him to ever improve or even walk or talk again.

Fortunately, with the help of his sister Brooke and their parents, Dawn and Brian, Marcus has been improving every day.

There is still a long journey ahead for Marcus as he relearns many daily abilities and learns the long-term effects of his brain injury. His family is working hard to set Marcus up with the care and medical services he needs through his continued rehabilitation and therapy.

Funds raised will go towards Marcus's care, therapy, and rehabilitation and are deeply appreciated by his family. Brooke, Dawn, Brian, and Marcus want to express their gratitude for their friends' and family's care and support.
