RAY BUNTING-GLIOBLASTOMA DIAGNOSIS

In the summer of 2017, my friend and high school classmate, Ray Bunting started suffering seizures. After an incident at work where he suffered a fall, he was on a ventilator at Beebe for 8 days. He subsequently, was diagnosed with a terminal Glioblastoma Brain Tumor and had surgery at Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
Following surgery, Ray went through 8 weeks of targeted radiation and chemotherapy daily at the Tunnell Cancer Center and has continued chemotherapy since that time.
Early last fall, Ray showed signs of decline and suffered a full day of seizures. He was treated again at Jefferson and after a couple of months of being off of chemotherapy had resumed treatment and required extremely expensive medication.
Ray has very recently been told that his cancer is progressing. The chemotherapy has been resumed and infusion chemo is being added this week. The doctors have referred his wife to hospice beginning this week to learn what assistance at home will be available.
Ray and Robin had worked together in the real estate business. Robin has been challenged with giving Ray the optimal care he needs while struggling full time to continue to earn a living during this very difficult time.
They have some urgent and very essential financial needs to allow them to get through this transition. Money is urgently needed right now for basic monthly expenditures, due to their loss of income and ever-growing medical requirements. Anything financial assistance would be so greatly appreciated.
