The Center for Music Therapy has been a community staple for providing excellence in therapy service provision in Austin, Texas for 28 years. We provide Music Therapy and Physical Therapy services to people of all ages and abilities. We are a for-profit organization for the community good and have a sustainable business model to serve our Austin and global citizens with cutting edge care and treatments through the power of music.
It is time for the CFMT to grow in order to serve more people in exciting new and innovative ways. With your help, we will build a state of the art facility in the heart of Austin’s Health Innovation Zone providing our clients with increased services located just off the Lady Bird Lake hike and bike trail, just east of I-35 in downtown Austin, TX !
We are raising our initial $53,000 to help us begin the design on this new facility and allow our free programs to continue while taking our company to next level to reach a greater number of people!
You can help out two ways:

2) PARTICIPATE by joining a Team! Each Team listed below is a leadership team with a goal to raise $2100+ per team towards our $53,000 goal! Team links will be posted below in the next 7 days and you can begin to raise funds immediately.

Join us in person at our 1st Annual Movement Marathon! Our Movement Marathon begins Friday, November 9th at 4pm and ends 4pm on Saturday, November 10th at, the Center for Music Therapy, located at 711 W 38th St Bldg F-4.
We will use these funds for:
-the design and build-out of the new Center for Music Therapy
-funding free community programs that we offer, like our popular Team I Am /I Can exercise-group for those with motor movement disorders
-further program development of new technologies that allow music therapy to reach those who don't have access to these services
-seed money for expanding staff and services via new Tele Medicine platform for underserved populations such as Veteran’s communities, Rural Aging and Childhood programs
