This GoFundMe page is dedicated to Dennis Robison: a father, son, husband, and American military veteran.

My name is Deanna Robison, and I am the second oldest daughter of Dennis and Carolina Robison. I created this GoFundMe page on behalf of my father, Dennis, who was recently diagnosed with a large brain tumor.

Until now, my father was a completely healthy and fully functioning 49-year-old with no underlying health conditions. During the week of September 19th, 2022, he began exhibiting symptoms of aphasia, or the loss of ability to understand or express speech, along with migranes that affected his day-to-day routine. Over the last three weeks, these symptoms progressively worsened. On the night of October 10th, just after getting back from a family road trip the day before, my father began hallucinating and becoming increasingly disoriented. We rushed him to the nearest hospital, but on the way, he began to seize due to what we now know was a brain bleed. We contacted emergency services, who were able to monitor him the rest of the way to the hospital. Once we arrived, they admitted him for testing, where they did an MRI. Our hearts sank when we received news that my father had a large tumor covering the left part of his brain. We have not been given a definitive diagnosis, but the doctors regretfully informed us that he has an estimated two months to live if we do not go ahead with any form of treatment. We were presented with two options: transfer my father to Omaha, where doctors and surgeons would continue to run further tests and possibly perform brain surgery, or do nothing. We decided to choose the option giving my father the best chance, so this morning, October 13th, he will be transferred to the hospital in Omaha and, if God permits, the hope for surgery will become a reality. As you all can imagine, my family and I are completely and utterly distraught, but this news does not mean we have lost hope. God performs miracles, and we are firm believers in the power of faith and prayer.

For those who do not know Dennis Robison:
My father has always been a fighter, proving this title since he was 17 years old and joined the United States Air Force. Over his 23 years of serving our country, he had worked his way up the ranks, eventually earning the position of "Chief". His current occupation is with Homeland Security, working each day tirelessly to ensure our country's safety. His friends, family, and colleagues know him as the biggest jokester and kindest soul, "a true ray of sunshine to be around". He loves to travel the world and spend quality time with his 3 daughters and wife of 26 years. My father is our biggest hype man, constantly pushing us to meet our greatest potential both in and out of school.

My father is the sole provider for our family of five, and with his inability to work, we are constrained with treatment options, as their prices exceed what we can afford. If he can receive this surgery, my father will need physical and occupational therapy after to regain control of his body, adding additional costs to the immense list of medical bills. We are asking you all for your kindness through donations and prayers. If there is any way you can help relieve my family of this financial burden so that we may concentrate on my father's recovery, please contribute what you can. Aside from money, we are begging for prayer warriors to keep my father and our family in your daily prayers so that we may have an army of God's children helping us through this difficult time.

Thank you in advance for your generosity, support, and love.
