Sidney Cowboy Pride - Uniform Drive

The Sidney High School football team is working to raise money to replace our uniforms.  The team has been wearing the same uniforms for the past 18 years, only replacing a handful of jerseys a year.  Football is an extremely expensive sport to fund, especially in rural schools.  Because of the high expense, the school doesn’t have the depth in our athletic funds available to update our uniforms that have been around since the late 1990’s. 
 
Sidney is a proud football community and has had a lot of success, including making the post-season 8 of the past 10 years and has been one of a few schools to post 100 wins over the past 15 years, thanks to a number of great players.  Prior to this success, the Sidney Cowboy teams that were put on the field in the 70’s and 80’s celebrated with numerous undefeated seasons. 

We believe that it is time to show that pride, by giving back to a team that hasn’t received new uniforms in almost two decades.  The current players and coaches are doing fundraisers and have future fundraising events planned.  Nevertheless, these fundraisers will not cover the cost of the uniforms. We are in need of your help in this process. 

Please show your Cowboy spirit by helping a football program that gets nearly 85% participation from all of the boys in the school with a gift to help purchase new football uniforms.  Sidney loves its football team and tradition.  As the Sidney Coach for the past 18 years, I appreciate everything that all of the former players, coaches, and fans have done to create this program and would be deeply grateful for any donation.
