Mission Trip to Colombia!

Hi everyone,

My name is Marissa Hopkins. After much prayer and consideration, I have decided to go on a mission trip this summer with a team from my church to Colombia. During my time at Kingsway Church, I have had the opportunity to serve in various capacities, and after much prayer, the Lord has opened the doors for me to serve in a new capacity in the field of missions. This will be my first time going on a mission trip, and I am beyond grateful that the Lord has opened the doors to this opportunity. The trip to Colombia will take place from July 5th to July 14th. I am thankful for this opportunity to learn and serve. During our time there, we will assist missionaries in Colombia who lead various ministries, including agricultural work, construction work, women empowerment, and feeding programs.

I am grateful to God for this opportunity to join the team going to Colombia this year. I wanted to ask for your partnership in two areas. The first area is regarding prayer. I ask that you partner with me and pray for this trip. Please pray for God’s wisdom, guidance, and protection for the team and God’s blessings on all we do there. Pray that we can reach as many people as possible during our time there to ensure they receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the unconditional love of God.

Another area where I am asking for partnership is regarding funding. If possible, I would like to know if you would be willing to help me raise money for this trip. The trip will cost around $2,200, which will cover the expenses for the flight, food, and housing arrangements. Since we are responsible for raising all of the funds for this trip, any gift you could send would be greatly appreciated.
