The Real Betrayal of Eve

Good Day All.
I formed this campaign in an effort to fund my very first book titled, "The Real Betrayal of Eve: A Critical Analysis of the Justifiably Angry Black Woman." This book is a revolutionary call to women, for us to take a critical and objective look at how we've been functioning within a society that doesn't always seem to have our best interest set as a primary focus. I want black women to take a critical view at why we're so angry ans who we should be angry with. This book is geared toward shedding light on what's been eating away at so many of us and for so long. From toxic relationships with our mothers to the types of men we've chosen and mates, we need a safe space to vent and heal. We need the freedom to entertain thoughts that are typically written off as taboo, and minus the constant wagging of fingers and disapproving stares of those who seek to use our struggles as a noose to strangle out our voice.
The end goal is to help justifiably angry women to see beyond immediate circumstances and experiences, and into solutions that help us toward healing and fulfillment. We must figure out why we're so accomadating to everyone but ourselves. We've been conditioned to put ourselves last and such practices don't lend themselves to mental stability, confidence or a reasonable level of self esteem. I'm so very thankful to include so many of you in my journey. Those of you who have been supportive, who have encouraged me, and positively reinforced what I've shared of myself and my family, even going so far as sharing stories of your own, you have provided me with the much needed fuel to press forward.
For those of you who will see this and are unfamiliar with my work, I'd like to share an excerpt from my book with the hopes that this will give you some insight on just one of the directions I'm going in.
"Society teaches women that our fertility belongs to it. It is our duty to reproduce in order to further civilization. The problem with that is the fact that we end up giving birth to a nation that disrespects and disregards us once it gets what is needed from us. We have to damn near beg for basic rights and considerations from the very sons we birthed. What's even worse is that our daughters follow suit, suffering from what appears to be our own version of Stockholm Syndrome.
This can be seen in our consistent badgering of other women. The consistent preaching and teaching of how to get and keep a man, to settle if our standards aren't met, and how to better tend to their needs. The only time we're really taught to tend to our own needs is when it makes us more pleasing to the eyes and appealing to the desires of men. We are taught how to better treat men, while never having ingrained in us how we should be handling and interacting with each other as women. Instead, we are told to battle, to compete with other women for the affection and attention of men. Ultimately, what you end up with is women who love men more than they love themselves. They grow selfish with other women, yet selfless when it comes to men."
